RFA Diligence is the ‘target’ in a boarding training exercise conducted by teams from HMS Somerset and RFA Fort Victoria.

Each ship took turns to close in on the target vessel and the boarding teams from the respective ships practiced their skills in climbing aboard from their sea boats.

The serial took all day and is of huge importance as the ships were deployed on a 6 month anti-piracy and maritime security mission where these skills were utilised to their maximum.
